Anatomy of Your Enemy

I was listening to some of my older music today and came across this little gem from a great punk band, Anti-Flag. The song is called Anatomy of Your Enemy and was released on their album Mobilize in 2002 (OK, so it's not that old). I think this song greatly sums up what the Bush Administration has been doing with the War on Terrorism. Check out the lyrics below and see if you can see Bush and his goons follow these steps perfectly.

Give me Team Fortress 2

For me Team Fortress Classic (or TFC as it's more commonly known) was one of my favorite multiplayer games ever. For it's time it was a damn fun, addicting, and great game. I remember sitting in front of my computer and playing round after round for hours; until my eyes dried out and my contacts were killing me. That was fun. I had a 14.4 baud modem and an itchy trigger finger. I always played as either a Sniper or Soldier. 2fort was of course the best map (for both Snipers and Soldiers), followed by Dustbowl. When ever I think about TFC I want to play it. Unfortunately though, I was usually away from home at that time.

The Origin of God

Yes, this is old but still great none-the-less. Where does the idea of a god come from? Could it be the use of fear that created a god? Or perhaps a way to control people? Or how about the way a primitive toolmaker thinks. Well Douglas Adams believes the latter, and after watching this quick little video feature about his idea, it's hard to imagine a god being created any other way. In September 1998 while in Cambridge, Douglas Adams gave a very well thought out speech about the origin of god and how primitive man came to the conclusion that this world was built for him by someone much more powerful than himself.

Please stop using Internet Explorer 6

Last month about half of my visitors used some version of Internet Explorer (IE) while the other half used a version of Firefox. Looking more closely about half of my IE users are using version 6. Stop it! Because of you people I have to constantly make sure that any little change I make works in IE6. And if it doesn't, which is 90 percent of the time, then I have to find a way to fix it or hack it to get it to work. It's a pain in the ass. My admin panel that I use to run this site uses lots of CSS and javascript to make it pretty and do cool things. I always used either Firefox or IE7 to view my admin panel. Well, the other day I made the mistake of opening it with IE6. Virtually nothing worked or looked right. I seriously laughed at how lame it looked in IE6.
