It's been several months since the last time I read a book and I was starting to get that itch to read again. I didn't know what I wanted to read nor did anything catch my interest. So I decided to go back to a series that I started awhile ago, but never continued with. I picked up the next book in the Ender series titled Speaker for the Dead.

Speaker for the Dead
I have a new favorite band. It's a band that I've liked and known about for only a couple years now, though they've been around a bit longer. I first heard this band at a concert. I liked their sound so I bought their CD and loved it. Now two years later, they've released another album. The band is A Wilhelm Scream and the album is Career Suicide.
I was browsing through the New Arrivals area of the Xbox Marketplace when I noticed a new arcade game called GripShift. I first heard about this game for the PSP and saw some game play videos on it. It looked to be pretty fun, and I was thinking about getting it for my PSP. But once I saw it on the Marketplace, I immediately purchased it there and didn't think twice about the PSP. Good move!
I've been looking to get a new smartphone for the past year, but wanted to wait until I could get one with Windows Mobile 6 installed. Well, that day came a few months ago when AT&T released their newest smartphone called Tilt. But I wanted to wait a few months for the reviews to come in and also for my contract to expire. Now that the reviews are in (and good) and the fact that I can pick one up fairly cheap by re-signing another 2 year contract, I plan on getting one here in the next few weeks.
It's been awhile since I've played a Call of Duty (CoD) game, and I was pretty skeptical when I got this game. The first game was great while the next two were pretty crap-tastic, but several good reviews and amazing looking game play videos of CoD 4 tipped the scales, and I broke down and got the game. I haven't beaten the game yet, but through my game experience I can already tell you that CoD is back!
