I really hate Creative

I'm sure most of you are aware of the nice relationship between Creative's Sound Blaster drivers and Windows Vista - there is none. Unless you want to count a lame company with lame software writers who cannot properly write software for an OS that's been on the market for over a year now a relationship. More simply, for whatever reason Creative cannot create any decent drivers that will get their sound cards working properly on Windows Vista.

I have a really bad case of the Mondays

I've been really unmotivated when it comes to writing in my blog recently. I don't know why. Maybe it's the lack of interesting things that I've come across and want to write about? Or maybe it's the fact that I spend most of my free time coding, or worse, playing Team Fortress 2. Either way I guess you can also count this as writer's block.

Article comment feeds now available

Just a quick update, but I finally got around to building a script that allows individual RSS comment feeds for each article. It's something that I've had on my to-do list for awhile now, but never saw any urgency to write it.

Underscores vs. Hyphens with pretty URLs

I had to do it. It's been bugging me for a long time now. I had to update my site's URLs. More specifically, I had to update my site's article URLs (along with some others). I've been putting this off for a long time because I knew it was going to be a lot of tedious work updating all my URLs and adding a whole bunch of rewrite rules. Well, I finally forced myself to sit down and do this. Prepare for mass breakage.

Team Fortress 2 is like alcohol

Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a dangerous game. It may not be directly dangerous to your health, like alcohol, but in the long run, I can see myself getting more and more unhealthy the more and more I play this game, or the more and more alcohol I drink. What the hell am I talking about? TF2 is also like alcohol in terms of time shifting. There, that should clear things up.
