Well, we did it. Barack Obama has become the 44th President of The United States of America...and I could not be happier about it. Watching the national news this evening I felt a steady confidence that this country would make the right choice for President.

My post-election thoughts
I guess you can say people who are blindly supporting John McCain are running out of ways to try and smear Barack Obama. Instead of focusing on the bigger issues like policies, some McCain supports are taking a more trivial route. Case in point: The horror that occurred when Obama removed the American flag from the tail of his airplane.
Yesterday presidential hopeful, Senator Barack Obama grabbed the necessary delegate count to seize the Democratic nomination for president. This means Hillary Clinton is out of the presidential race, and the general election will be between my choice, Barack Obama and Arizona Senator, John McCain. Well, it looks like we have our top three candidates for the next president of the United States. For the Republicans we have John McCain and for the Democrats we have Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. In my opinion all three candidates are not bad choices, but after digging around and reading up on each candidate I definitely have to say Barack Obama is my choice to run this country.
