Bender's Big Score - Honk if Bender is great!

One of the things I got for Christmas was the new Futurama DVD titled Bender's Big Score. As a HUGE Futurama fan, I would have purchased this DVD awhile ago, but with Christmas around the corner I wasn't allowed to buy myself anything. Having now received the DVD and upon watching it a couple times, I can easily say that Bender's Big Score is stupendous and just as great, if not better, than the TV series. Fans rejoice!

IGNs top 25 primetime animated series

IGN recently released their picks for the top 25 prime time animated shows of all time.  You can check it out here.  I thought I would throw in my two cents on their choices.  Here we go.

Najica - Blitz Tactics

'Najica – Blitz Tactics’ is its name but ‘Najica – Panty Tactics’ should be its real name. Honestly I have never seen so many panty and crotch shots in a show before. It isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just kind of....weird.

Futurama gets 13 new episodes

Alright!  Best news I've heard all week!  Comedy Central has bought the rights for Futurama and is making 13 new episodes that will air in 2008.  Yeah, I know that's a long time away but it's actually happening.  Futurama is one of my favorite shows ever.  It's much smarter and more clever than most other shows out there.

Trigun - another great anime

Like the title says, Trigun is another great Japanese Anime.  I finally finished watching the entire series a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it.  Trigun is more on the goofy side of anime when comparing it to other shows like Cowboy Bebop.  But this show also contains plenty of serious, dark, action packed moments.

Cowboy Bebop rocks

I recently got my hands of the first season of Cowboy Bebop.  For those who don't know, Cowboy Bebop is an awesome Japanese anime that came out several years ago.  The first season is 26 episodes long (I think).  Cartoon Network's 'Adult Swim' has been showing this cartoon for the past year or so and that's when I first got hooked.

Good news everyone! Futurama has a future

I love Futurama. In fact the more I think about why I like it, the more I like it. I just find it to be extremely smart and funny. The shows creators Matt Groening and David X. Cohen did a great job creating this show. Obviously Matt Groening also created The Simpsons - another one of my favorites - and brought all his talent over for Futurama.
