I guess you can say people who are blindly supporting John McCain are running out of ways to try and smear Barack Obama. Instead of focusing on the bigger issues like policies, some McCain supports are taking a more trivial route. Case in point: The horror that occurred when Obama removed the American flag from the tail of his airplane.

Yesterday presidential hopeful, Senator Barack Obama grabbed the necessary delegate count to seize the Democratic nomination for president. This means Hillary Clinton is out of the presidential race, and the general election will be between my choice, Barack Obama and Arizona Senator, John McCain. Well, it looks like we have our top three candidates for the next president of the United States. For the Republicans we have John McCain and for the Democrats we have Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. In my opinion all three candidates are not bad choices, but after digging around and reading up on each candidate I definitely have to say Barack Obama is my choice to run this country.

I was listening to some of my older music today and came across this little gem from a great punk band, Anti-Flag. The song is called Anatomy of Your Enemy and was released on their album Mobilize in 2002 (OK, so it's not that old). I think this song greatly sums up what the Bush Administration has been doing with the War on Terrorism. I never really had an opinion about Penn and Teller until I saw an episode of their show called Bullshit! In this episode they take on creationism or Intelligent Design and it's teachings in public schools. When I first started watching it I wasn't too sure which side of the argument they would be on. Would they be for the teaching of Intelligent Design in schools? Or not? Well thankfully they do not support it and dedicate 26 minutes about the debate behind it.

This doesn't really come as a surprise to me, but religion is in the decline here in America. It's been in the decline for the past couple of decades, and looks to continue its downfall in the future. How do I know this? Well a new survey in the U.S. tells us. Conducted by Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, the survey questioned 18-25 year olds on whether they believed in a god or higher power. Out of those questioned, 20 percent stated they are atheist, agnostic or nonreligious, which increased from just 11 percent in 1986.

First off, the world is too overly sensitive.  We're already walking on pins and needles.  We constantly have to be careful with what we say or what jokes we tell.  We constantly have to be politically correct because wishing someone a merry Christmas to someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas may emotionally damage them thus forcing you to pay them later in a lawsuit.  Funny how money can cure emotional distress.  I call bullshit.

Ahhh....it's nice.  With the 2006 mid-term elections over, the out-comes have helped put a positive spin on my outlook of the American public.  For awhile there I thought I was in the minority when it came to my views on certain political issues.  Well, with the final out-come and a record number of young voters this election term, it looks like this country is finally moving forward.

Ok, last post about Jack Thompson, I swear!  But I just had to post this little gem.  Where to start, where to start?  As most of my readers know already, Jack Thompson has some type of vendetta against the video game industry.  No one really knows why, but many believe it's for more recognition and votes at the polls.  Either way, the guy is a complete wacko and Rockstar (developers of Jack's favorite game, Grand Theft Auto) was nice enough to show everyone just that.

Look at the picture above.  It contains the current cover of Newsweek from various regions of the world.  They all show and discuss the same information except the American version.  While the rest of the world gets to read about Afghanistan and how, "Five years after the Afghan invasion, the Taliban are fighting back hard, carving out a sanctuary where they—and Al Qaeda's leaders—can operate freely."  While the US gets to read about and see pictures of Angelina Jolie and her baby.

It seems the fine folks over at ShelleytheRepublican.com have created a two-part series on how to expose an atheist.  I guess Part I wasn't enough and so they continue their quest.  Part II is much better.  Let's take a look at what they had to say:

Well it looks like the fine folks over at ShelleytheRepublican.com (STR) are at it again.  You know them, you love them.  Whether you think their site is satire or not it still worries me what these people write about.  In this episode of STR, they help other Christians by explaining some facts about atheists.  Let's take a look at some of the things they had to say:

From all the thousands of videos and photos taken from the World Trade Center disaster, some questions arose.  Some videos and photos showed a dripping molten substance and white ash.  Both of which should only be present when an incendiary device is used.  Also, let's not forget the pools of molten metal found below each tower after the event.  Professor Jones states, "The evidence points directly to controlled demolition which means an inside job brought these WTC buildings down."

I just cannot believe some of the things I have been reading from some “Christians” blogs lately. These people are flippin’ insane! No question about it. Not only are they insane, but they scare the crap out of me. I cannot believe people like this exists in the world are some are in power.

I'm sure most of you have seen the seen some of the 'conspiracy' videos surrounding the attacks on September 11, 2001.  Two planes crashed into each World Trade Center tower respectively, one plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania, and another crashed into the Pentagon.

Ha!  This is one of the reasons why The Simpsons remains to be one of my favorite shows ever.  In the newest episode aired tonight the Springfield school system was forced to teach an alternative to evolution called creationism or Intelligent Design.  As all us normal people know, creationism is NOT science and has no place in our school system.  Evolution on the other hand has indisputable scientific evidence to back it up and thus is apropriate to teach in a science class.

Ok, this is my last Jack Thompson post, I swear! Mr. Thompson is a troll and a troll feeds on attention. He is an attention whore, and by making crazy statements and such, he's pissed off a lot of people. What's the one way to beat a troll? By ignoring them.

I'm really starting to worry about the people that help run this country. I mean, I hate to use the term but um, get a clue! For christs sake, do politicians have nothing better to do than waste everyones' time and money (tax payers money) on stupid, redundant crap?

This time in Pennsylvania, a federal judge ruled against the teaching of Intelligent Design in high school biology classes. The judge said something that should be fairly obvious to everyone: Intelligent Design is creationism in disguise. And we all know that creationism is a religious view. Thus teaching this in school is a violation of the constitutional separation of church and state.

'Intelligent Design' seems to be the new buzz phrase around the country lately. Even though the concept of it has been around for a very long time. Intelligent Design is nothing more than a new name for 'creationism'. 

Earlier I posted how Jack Thompson withdrew himself from the case in Alabama, and how the defense wanted Thompson removed from the case for his questionable ethics. 

Well, a few days ago the Alabama judge rejected Thompson's withdrawal, and instead kicked him off the case and revoked his temporary license to practice law in Alabama. Haha! That judge is awesome.

What is wrong with people. Until recently I had a hard time understanding how or why racism still exists today. I can understand how racism existed decades and decades ago - people were stupid back then. They were naive, scared of the unknown, or scared of change. But I guess people are still stupid and naive today.

Before Florida attorney Jack Thompson can argue that companies that made or sold GTA are responsible for a June 2003 murders, he first has to prove his legal ethics - or lack of. 

During the beginning of this case, the defendents motioned to have Thompson dismissed from the case for violation of legal ethics. Those following Thompson's antics know how un-ethical he can be. A lawyer with Blank Rome said Thompson was incapable of proceeding with civility and said he would "turn the courtroom into a circus."

In case you don't remember, in 2003 a kid was arrested and taken to court. While in the court house he was able to get a hold of an officers gun and kill two police men and a dispatcher. He then stole and fled in a police car.

You know him, you hate him, Mr. Jack Thompson. He's an anti-video game fanatic/lawyer, who's been preaching that video games are the cause of all evil in the world.

Well, lately he's been loosing more and more credibility, even with people on his side. The National Institute on Media and the Family has now distanced themselves from the lawyer stating that Mr. Thompson's commentary, "has included extreme hyperbole and [his] tactics have included personally attacking individuals for whom [we] have a great deal of respect."

Remember Arnold Schwarzenegger? He was that great action film star that I would consider an idol sometimes. But that's in the past...now I consider him a worthless, mindless, sheep of a politician.
