One of the things I got for Christmas was the new Futurama DVD titled Bender's Big Score. As a HUGE Futurama fan, I would have purchased this DVD awhile ago, but with Christmas around the corner I wasn't allowed to buy myself anything. Having now received the DVD and upon watching it a couple times, I can easily say that Bender's Big Score is stupendous and just as great, if not better, than the TV series. Fans rejoice!

I was going to write a big ol' review on this, but common sense has lead me in the other direction. Nope, no big review. And by common sense, I mean that by knowning of this new Futurama DVD you should already know that it kicks ass. Hey, it's common sense.

With that said, the movie is hilarious and smart. Spoilers. The fact that Bender was the one who was responsible for the destruction of the city while Fry was frozen during the first episode - the relationship between Fry, Leela, and Lars - the running gag with Torgo's Executive Powder - the spammers - Al Gore - the solid gold Death Stars - and finally, the ending all made this movie wonderfully memorable.

So any Futurama/cartoon/comedy fan will see this and find it to be hilarious, because, hey, it's common sense. And what kind of half-assed review would this be if it didn't end with a over-used Futurama quote, so here it is, "Well, we're boned."
