Ah yes, Grand Theft Auto IV. I'm not afraid to admit that I love the GTA series. Well, at least from GTA III and up. The first two GTA's were ok, but not as memoriable as their children. I am of course talking about Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. They all rock, so all you haters shut up. Those three games have given me more game play time than another other game I can think of.

So besides the title of this article giving it away, can you guess what my thoughts are on the next GTA game? I can't wait! Simply called GTA IV, this game is stated for release on October 16, 2007. That's right, 2007! Talk about a shock seeing how they just announced this game less than a month ago. The game takes place back in Liberty City, the home of the GTA games and modeled after New York City. But this won't be the same city we saw in GTA III, instead we'll be visiting a much more realistic and detailed city. With lots of new places to explore, vehicles to drive, and people to meet.

GTA IV is being released on the next gen consoles including the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, then sometime later for the PC (probably). I'll obviously be getting it for the 360 first, then maybe the PC when it comes out. It's a safe bet I'll be playing the hell out of this game. It's definitely one of my most anticipated games this year. So don't expect a lot of activity on my site when I get the game. I might get a chance to post something like, "OMG UB3R!!!1!11", but that's probably all you'll see from me.
