So Websense has foiled me again. This time they attacked my own site! No not this site, but instead my PS3Passion.com site. Damn you! But I ask, why now? PS3Passion has been around since May 2005, and it was never blocked before. But now all of a sudden it flagged my site as a "games" site and will not let me access it from work.
Perhaps this is due to me revamping the site from scratch and getting rid of the PHP-Nuke CMS. I don't know. It doesn't make sense! It's not like my PS3 site gets tons of traffic and attention. Maybe it's my meta tags. I don't know. But now I will not be able to access or work on my PS3Passion site from work anymore. Shame, that's where I got most of my work done.
For those who don't know, Websense is an Internet filter that blocks certain types of web sites from being viewed while at work or school. Most of the site they block are more or less sites I wouldn't visit at work anyways (ie pr0n). But there are a few sites that I like to go to that Websense has blocked. Mainly video game sites. No, not sites where you play cute little flash games, but instead video game news sites where I can read up on all my favorite games.
I shall one day destroy you Websense....and your little dog too!

How about remote desktoping to your home machine and by-passing Webnonsense that way?
But my current job has me using RDC all the time to access remote servers. So yeah, I guess I could use it to access my home pc. Thanks.
