On August 4th my favorite ska bands are coming together to put on the greatest ska show of all time! Ok, maybe not, but it'll be the best ska show I've ever seen. How do I know this? Well we're talking about Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, and Against All Authority here. There's no doubt in my mind. I already bought my tickets because this show will probably sell out. I won't be pissed off this time when I don't buy tickets in advance and the show ends up selling out (damn you NOFX/Strike Anywhere concert!!). This time I'm prepared.

Again, it's happening on August 4th at the Marquee Theatre here in Phoenix. Luckily it's on a Saturday night so I don't have to worry about getting up and going to work the next day, so I can rock out, drink, and have a good time. Anyways, I can't wait. The headliner is Less Than Jake and while I am a fan of the band, I haven't listened to them nor bought any of their CD's since Hello Rockview. So hopefully they play a bunch of their old stuff. Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto are of course my two favorite ska bands, so they're what I'm looking forward to the most. Finally, Against All Authority is an awesome ska-core band. I only have one of their albums but it's a great one at that.

I wish the Marquee Theatre allowed cameras inside so I could take some pictures, but alas they don't. Bastards. But it's time to break out my skanking shoes again and head on down to the show - it's going to be awesome.
