I smell Oranges and explosives!

Valve's Orange Box that is. Which is set to be released in less than two hours. How do I know this? Well, Steam was nice enough to tell me. I opened up Steam, went to my games list, and half-heartedly double clicked on the pre-loaded, yet locked, Portal game. And what did I get? A nice message telling me the game is going to be unlocked in a little over an hour. My pulse increased immediately. I knew the game was supposed to be released tomorrow, but Valve always likes to push things back.

Portal is almost playableClicking on Half-Life 2: Episode Two (the game I'm most anxious for) produced the same result. Once these games are released my objective is to first play through Episode Two, then Portal, and then continue the madness in Team Fortress 2. Why in that order? Well, I love the Half-Life series. They are the best games ever in my opinion. I love the story and action each game brings. So I obviously cannot wait for the next installment of Gordon Freeman's adventure, and I hope they answer some damn questions!

Portal also looks amazing and I cannot wait to let this game puzzle the shit out of me.

As for the title of this article, by smelling oranges I was referring to the Orange Box. But what about the explosives? Well, Valve just released another great video from their famed characters in Team Fortress 2. And with that I'd like to introduce you to the Demoman, a black Scottish cyclops:

I just bought the Orange Box via Steam. I only wanted to play Team Fortress 2 and to try out Portal but because it seemed like a bargain I had to buy them all.

Portal, however mind-blowing it was, is just too short. It's a shame because I was expecting a lot more from it. I also want cake.

TF2... amazing. I hate first-person shooters (right, stupid to buy the Orange Box?) but this game is just so much fun I can't put it down.

Anyway, hope you've enjoyed playing these games!

I must say, I love all three games - Episode Two, Portal, and TF2. I've been playing TF2 for the past few weeks now (beta) and love every aspect of it.

Portal, while short, was still a damn fun game. Once the mod community has their way with it, I see an endless amount of mods and new levels for this game. I have a feeling I'll be playing it for awhile.

Episode Two was great and reaffirms that the Half-Life games are the best fps games ever. At least in my opinion. I can't wait until Episode Three.
