GreenMonkey, where you said they make a big deal out of mundane activities kind of reminds of that cartoon called "The Tick".  I remember one line where he says, "I'm doing laundry!".  Good stuff.

I like Samurai Jack mainly for the animation style. The story line is pretty good, but the animation is definitley interesting. Not that it's absolutely mind blowing or anything. It just seems to be done sort of in the old Japanese style art. That's the impression it gave me. I enjoy it.
