Well last night me and Jenny went to the Marquee Theatre here in Phoenix to see Strung-Out play. As always, they rocked. They kept the mix good and played their older and newer songs including 'Bring out your Dead', 'Jackie-O', 'Matchbook', 'Analog', etc. Also Jenny and I got new Strung-Out shirts.
The show started at 6:30pm but we didn't show up until 8pm. We didn't get to see the first band play (don't remember their name), but we did get to see Section 8, A Wilhelm Scream, and Strung-Out. Stretch Armstrong also played right before Strung-Out but we just hung out in the lobby/bar instead.
A Wilhelm Scream was pretty damn good. I've never heard them before, but they played their music fast and were powerful and I liked it. So I bought their new CD. I'll give my opinion on it when I've listened to it some more.
On a side note, we actually ran into a bunch of old friends at this show and got to hang up with them for awhile. It was good seeing them and catching up on our time apart.
Overall, a pretty good show. It lasted until about 11:30pm and we didn't get to bed until after midnight.
