This is a message to my friend, Linerider. Linerider, I hate you. You seemed nice at first. A simple little toy that I could play with. You were fun, entertaining, and allowed me to express my creativity. You were always there for me in times of absolute boredom. Whether it be at home or at work, you always knew how to make me happy.

And let's not forget about your brothers and sisters. You know. The ones that were kind of like you but had some added qualities and abilities. When I started getting bored of you, your relatives were their to pull me back in. Oh we had some good times together. You helped me stay up way past my bedtime and helped me miss deadlines at work. So for that I say thank you.

And now as I sit at home or work, I cannot stop thinking about you. I cannot stop thinking about how you are ruining my life, and how I'm letting it happen. Sob. Why?! Why can't you let me be?! Why can't I stop thinking about you? You're bad for me, and I know it. Yet I keep coming back to you. Like a defenseless puppy who just wants the love of their abusive master. You're like an addictive drug to me. Or like a bag of Lays or a tube of Pringles. I just can't stop! Sob.

But I feel myself getting stronger now. I think that I'm finally getting over you. Deep breath. Maybe, sometime in the future, I'll be able to lead a normal life. One without you, Linerider. And while you may appear innocent and fun at first, I know your dark secret and will tell the world of it. No longer will you be able to suck the life out of innocent kids. No no. They will have a future whether you like it or not. Prepare for change, Linerider. Prepare for a world without you.
