Thanks for correcting my mistake about SLI Chris. I got a little carried away when typing up this article.

As for the stock CPU cooler, I've always used the stock coolers that come with the CPU. They are certified to cool that processor and I don't plan on overclocking this CPU just yet. If I do, then I definitely will get a better one. But for now this cooler will work just fine. If it does fry my CPU, then Intel owes me another one.

Nice build you have there but do yourself a huge favor and pick up a nice heatsink *gasp* The stock cooler is barely an excuse for a cooler, I wouldn't even trust it on a chipset let alone a processor. The Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme will keep that great chip running very cool and give you the option to easily overclock to 4GHz, letting you unleash the full potential of that otherwise great setup. I know $60 is a lot to dump on a heatsink but just feel glad I'm not trying to sell you one of my $800 single-stages. Your chip will love you for it, the U-120X that is.

Just a minor correction, the P35 chipset doesn't support SLI but it does support Crossfire albeit at 16x/4x rather than full 16x/16x like the X38 chipset, may want to edit that one bit. Only Nvidia's 650/680/780 chipsets support consumer-grade SLI, X38 supports professional-grade SLI, and P35 supports neither SLI afaik.
