Moving moving moving

Jenny and I are currently in the process of buying a new house to live in. Currently we live in a house that we rent from a property management company. We've lived here for the past 4-5 years, and think it's time to try and buy our own place. Why not? We currently have decent jobs that pay well, we're now married, and what we pay in our monthly rent can instead go to our monthly mortgage. Plus right now it's a buyer's market. We haven't found a house yet, but we're looking. Our lease is up at the end of April, so we're trying to find a house and move into it before then.

We already got our loan approval out of the way. We just need to now find a house and buy it. We've been working with a realtor for the past week or so to go and look at houses. Some houses were pretty crappy, while others were just OK, but none really got my attention and had me jumping to sign the papers. Hopefully, Jenny and I will be looking at some more houses this week(end). We really need to find a house within the next week or two if we plan on moving out of our rental house by April.

Unfortunately, I think our rental house has kind of spoiled us. It's a decent house that I do like. The main issue is, I don't want to have to downgrade. In other words, I don't want to move from a house I like with certain features, to a house that I don't like as much. But Jenny and I are still uncertain as to what we are going to do with our new house. We don't know if we're going to live in it for a long time, or wait a few years for the housing market to build back up and sell it for a profit. We'll see.

Other than that, I've also been moving at work. Nothing big or anything, but they moved our offices to the other side of the building. It's nice. I now get my own office instead of sharing one with a co-worker. Plus, our offices are all by themselves. There's no one else around and so we goof off sometimes towards the end of the day (after all our work is done of course).

But that's kind of what's been going on these past few weeks. In other words, you just read some excuses as to why I haven't been posting on my web site that much. Sorry. Anyways, I'll keep you guys updated on our housing news.

Not sure what prices are like around PHX but over here in Scottsdale prices are ridiculous. Even for us poor ppl that have to rent apartments XD

Gl and curious to see where you end up. Don't move to Mesa tho!

Thanks man.

We're actually looking at houses in the Gilbert area. They have some nice ones that are in our price range. Hopefully, we'll have one soon.
