Yeah, the widescreen is very nice. I&#039;ve read several reviews on Samsung LCDs and they all seem to get great reviews. I believe NewEgg even gave a Samsung LCD an award for being one of the best products of the month or something like that.&lt;br /&gt;

Apparently some of the newer ones were of lesser quality, but Samsung said the differences were next to nothing.&lt;br /&gt;

Given that I currently have a 17&amp;quot; LCD from BenQ with really poor picture quality, I don&#039;t think it&#039;ll make a difference to my eyes. Any new LCD is going to be better than this, and widescreen looks awesome.&lt;br /&gt;

Anyway, as for resolutions, your screen (like almost all 22&amp;quot; widescreens) is 1680x1050 native. The same aspect ratio would be 1440x900 if you need to run a lower res for framerates.</description>
