This weekend (Saturday) I attended the 2005 Truckin' Nationals here in Phoenix. I ended up going fairly early and stayed most of the day. The weather was great, although a little hot sometimes. But there was a nice breeze that kept you cool.
Of course there were lots of trucks and vendors there. I got lots of pictures that I'll post sometime this week, so keep an eye out for them.
They had some entertaining events there as well. Including an extreme 4x4 rock climbing trucks, monster truck show, and drag races. One really cool competition they had was to see if a repo man could break into a truck with a state of the art alarm system on it. If the guy could break in, and drive off with the truck, the alarm company would give him a prize. It was great, their was a 10 minute time limit and the repo man did it in under 5 minutes.
Anyways, other than getting a little sun burned and envious, it was a damn good show. Expect to see me there next year.
UPDATE: I now have the 2005 pictures up in the Gallery, so check them out.
