Starting my carPC project

Well I got all the parts ordered for my carPC from MP3Car.com. Here's a list of items that I ordered:

UPDATE 1: All the parts arrived the other day. Prior to building the console and installing it in my truck I decided to test all the parts. I put together the PC and installed WinXP on it.

Problem. I cannot get the touch screen to work for the life of me. It's a USB touch screen and Windows does not recognize that I've plugged anything in. I know the USB port works because other USB devices work when plugged in. Crap it looks like the touch screen may be damaged. I'll have to return it for another.

OK, I sent back the screen and got another one. This one works! Everything looks good. Now all I need to do is build the console and mount everything inside.

Finally started work on the console with my dad this weekend. The carPC works and is awesome. I went ahead and transferred all my music over to the system. I did so by installing a wireless NIC on the system. The carPC can now connect flawlessly to my wireless home network. Yeh!
