What the hell is happening to PS3Passion.com

Yeah.  I don't know what I want to do with my site, PS3Passion.com.  I started the site back in May 2005 with an ex-coworker.  He wanted to start a PlayStation 3 fan site and I had the resources and knowledge on how to start one.  So we created one using a CMS web app called PHP-Nuke.  At the time I had a lot of fun creating this site and messing with PHP-Nuke.  I learned a lot about it as well as PHP code in general.  I even created some custom modules and blocks for it.  Good stuff.

But after several months of running the site the other guy I started the site with disappeared and stopped posting news or content for the site.  So I tried to keep it up-to-date with breaking PS3 news and updates.  But soon after that I stopped caring about the site.  Now if you go there, it's a ghost town.  The last news items was posted back in April 2006 while the last forum post was created in May 2006.

Now the site just gets tons of spam in its email boxes and hacking attempts occur daily.  I'm just tired of dealing with it.  So I'm kind of at a crossroad with the site.  Do I just let the site die and when its domain expires, don't renew it?  Or should I try to maybe sell it to anyone who wants it?  Or should I get back in the game and re-design the site using something else besides PHP-Nuke?  I don't know.

I've been kind of pissed with Sony and what they're doing with the PS3 lately.  It doesn't look that good anymore.  As a matter of fact, I probably wont even buy one when it comes out ($$).  So running a site for a product I don't like doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Anyone what to buy PS3Passion.com?

Well I'd be glad to help out on the site. I do have lots of free time on my hands. But if not I think you should keep it.

Yeah, but I don't want to pay for it or worry about it anymore.  I think I'm just going to to let it run until the domain expires in May 2007.  If you want access to the admin side of the site or ftp access, let me know and you can mess around with it.
