But the concept actually came from some ingenius rancher somewhere. In my teens, I worked on a ranch and most of our trucks had balls -- real balls -- When working with trailers, some trailers require a 2&quot; ball, others 2 3/4&quot;, etc. So we used to keep the different balls in a sack and hang it from the hitch. We could of just put them in the cab, but the ball sack was fun.
