No sooner do I post about how awesome The Adam Carolla Show is, that they then pull it off the air. I loved to listen to Adam, Teresa, and Danny every morning on my way to work. They made the trip enjoyable and helped to cheer me up on an otherwise uneventful day. But now that's all changed. Last week (Friday 6/22/07) I get in my car and turn on my radio, getting ready for the drive to work, when what does my stereo greet me with? Some flaming homo trying to free Paris Hilton from jail by playing nothing but her shitty ass songs. 

I was in disbelief at first. I thought maybe Adam and the guys at Free FM were doing some type of skit. But that hopeful belief soon faded. It wasn't a skit. Instead it was something horrible. But I still wanted to believe that what I was hearing wasn't real. After The Adam Carolla show another talk show starts called Frost, Heidi, and  Frank. Did I hear their voices later that day? No. Reality finally sunk in. 101.5 Free FM dumped their talk radio format for, get this, hip-hop. 101.5 Jamz is the new station id. You've got to be fucking kidding me?!

Why? Why did they do this? Those were my first heated questions as well. Well, there seems to be tons of rumors flying around about the format change. The word is that the whole Free FM format is failing. Radio stations are dropping Free FM left and right claiming they're having trouble selling advertising space. *sigh*

Now I have nothing to listen to on the way to work. ALL OTHER RADIO SUCKS! Yes it does. I'm stuck listening to my CD's again. I don't even get to listen to them at work on my computer. Why? Because my wonderful work blocks the site where they stream the shows.

Bring back Adam, Teresa, and Danny. How? Write/e-mail/bitch to your local radio stations. With enough voices we may give these guys another home.
